Seeking Expressions of Interest

Due to Rivers Dance moving to new premises, the Bello Youth HUB’s exercise/dance room is becoming available mid-August and the management committee is seeking expressions of interest from any youth or community groups interesting in regular hire of the facility.

Drop in at the HUB or call us on 5544 0381

The expression of interest will close end July.

Girls Night In

'Girls Night In' is an evening that explores the theme of Self-Love for young women aged 12-21 (trans women welcome). Through movies, games, discussions and plenty of laughs we delve into the issues of body love, self-esteem, media literacy (detox your Instagram feed!) and more. We will look at how we, as women, can respond individually and collectively to a culture that force feeds us ‘impossible to attain’ bodies as the norm. Join the body positive movement!

Oh yeah, did we mention there will be free pizza?!

In other news, we're coming up to another school holiday break.

This break, in Week 1 the Hub will be open for drop-in, with activities like movies and BBQ available for young people around the area.

Please note that aside from booked events the Hub will be closed for drop-in in Week 2.

Happy New Year – and THANK YOU!!

We would love to extend a warm Happy New Year to all our volunteers, staff and the wonderful people, young and old, that the Hub invites into its space.

We welcome 2017, since it represents another opportunity to produce the best results with our many programs and affiliated functions.

We count 2016 as a great success for us (we hosted over 900 events in under 3 months before the Christmas break), but with 2017, the chance to build on what we have is great.

We want to thank everyone who has helped the Hub to continue in its best capacity so far. Thank you!
